Christian Resources Exhibitions

We promote ourselves in a number of ways, not merely by advertising but by offering more useful services to new and existing clients.

As well as ordinary advertising in church publications and newspapers we have stands at the Christian Resources Exhibitions. The annual exhibition held each May at Sandown Park Racecourse in Surrey is a main event for us and, in addition to the stand, we use the same venue to conduct annual tax interviews for our clients who live in that area. If ever you’re in the vicinity of an exhibition please call to check that we will be there and ask if we have any complimentary tickets.

Theological College Presentations

Many theological colleges ask us to lecture to their leaving students on the taxation of Ministers of Religion. It can be an extremely complex area of taxation and it’s best to get it right from the start. We also talk to groups of clergy, for example at a chapter meeting. The lectures are very informal and are fully illustrated with handouts. Staff are available to give lectures at any mutually convenient time including evenings and weekends and there is no charge for this service. Retirement Seminars

Retirement is something that most of us look forward to but sorting out finances and tax can be a major source of concern. We speak to groups of ministers due to retire within five years to give them pointers on how to get their finances in order. This lecture is given with the help of our sister company, Independent Financial Management for Clergy Ltd, a firm of Independent Financial Advisers, who can advise on pensions, savings and investments in retirement.
