In 2001 Tax Management for Clergy created its own company to service the financial needs of our clergy clients. Our sister company Independent Financial Management for Clergy provides impartial advice on mortgages, pensions, life assurance and investments.
The important point to note is that they are independent. They can search the market place to offer you the best product, as they are not tied to selling their own products like many banks, building societies and other financial institutions.
A representative will be available at most of our venues and, although based in Grantham, they operate a nationwide service and will only be too pleased to see you in your own home, at your convenience.
The company has a strict work ethic and will provide the same service to all regardless of the wealth of the individual.
We believe that regular reviews are integral to meeting your financial planning needs. It is important to update advice as it may be affected by changes in your circumstances and objectives, fluctuations in the investment markets and amendments to tax and financial services legislation. In addition to the opportunity to speak with your financial adviser at the annual tax interview it is the objective of IFMC to review your financial affairs every six to twelve months.
Traditionally financial advisers are paid on a commission or target based salary. At IFMC this does not apply, which we believe provides a greater degree of independence as they are not under any pressure to sell products. The onus is on providing a service.
