Muriel established Tax Management for Clergy in November 2000 but has been dealing with clergy income tax since 1992. Somewhat of an entrepreneur, prior to this she owned and managed a successful printing and labelling business. As Managing Director of TMC she has an active role within the business and in particular deals with employment law and employee health and safety. Muriel specialises in self employed individuals and enjoys attending the Christian Resources Exhibitions which provides her with the opportunity to meet clients old and new. Muriel lives in Grantham with her husband and fellow Director Chris and her interests include travel and reading.

Martyn has been involved in clergy taxation since 1996. Prior to this he worked for 8 years as a tax manager with accountants in Nottingham and for 12 years with the Inland Revenue where he attained the rank of Inspector. Martyn is a Director of Tax Management for Clergy and along with completing clergy Returns he administers the payroll bureau, lectures to leaving students at theological colleges and handles Inland Revenue enquiries. Martyn lives in Mansfield with his wife June and twin daughters Rachael and Hannah. He enjoys reading and wine tasting.

David has been advising clergy regarding their tax affairs for the past 15 years. In that time he has gained qualification as a member of the Association of Taxation Technicians. He is an invaluable member of the team and has become extremely knowledgeable in tax credits, personal tax, capital gains tax and the taxation of property. He also lectures to leaving student at theological colleges. David lives with his wife Sara in Grantham and his interests include music, reading and football.

Daniel has been helping clergy with their taxation since leaving school in 1993. In that time he has gained valuable experience of clergy taxation and clergy life. As well as advising on tax matters he organises the annual tour of the country which involves booking hotel conference rooms and accommodation. He also deals with the company’s IT infrastructure. Daniel lives in Grantham with his fiancée Andrea and their two children Olivia and Joe. He enjoys playing golf, football and computing.

Paul has been working in clergy taxation for 10 years and has worked for Tax Management for Clergy since its establishment in 2000. As well as completing Income Tax Returns Paul also assists with the day to day finances of the company. He lives in Newark and his interests include playing golf and DIY.

Brenda has over 30 year’s taxation experience, the last 5 of those with Tax Management for Clergy. Prior to this Brenda worked with several accountancy practices including one top 20 company as well as the Inland Revenue. She has previous taxation experience in high net worth individuals, company Directors, partnerships and is also our credit controller. Brenda lives in Grantham with her husband Keith and lists her hobbies as cooking and reading.

Keily is the Manager of our administration department and is the first point of contact for many clients. Her excellent personal skills make her the perfect person to answer our telephone calls. She ensures that the day to day administrative functions run efficiently, maintains the office systems and manages the Direct Debit control. Keily enjoys attending all of the Christian Resources Exhibitions where she has proven to be very popular. Living in Grantham with her partner Chris her interests include shopping and socialising.

Chris, like his wife Muriel, is a Director of Tax Management for Clergy and is also the Company Secretary. He has many years experience running several successful businesses and gained tax and financial knowledge during his time working for the Inland Revenue at Somerset House in London. Chris lives in Grantham with Muriel and lists his interests as playing golf, chess and reading.
